License - Extended Commercial License
Licenses – Professional Music Usage Rights
These licenses grant the right to use MARMES MUSIC music for commercial, creative, or public purposes.
If you previously purchased a standard CD or digital album for personal listening, you can now buy a license separately to use the music in your projects, advertisements, videos, or media productions.
Licenses are sold independently, without any CD or audio files – they apply to your existing purchase and provide official usage rights.
NB: This product is a license only.
It is intended to activate the use of a previously purchased unlicensed CD (Standard CD - No License) for commercial purposes.
The product does not include a CD or music files.
After purchasing the License, it will be linked to your previously purchased CD.
Extended Commercial Licence
Permitted use:
- all uses permitted under the Commercial Licence;
- use of the music in large-scale advertising campaigns;
- use of the music in paid apps, games or platforms;
- use of the music in large-scale corporate projects with wide reach.
Prohibited use:
- remixing, editing or creating derivative works;
- use of the music in films, TV shows or original streaming content (unless separately agreed);
- reselling or relicensing the music to third parties.
The licensing system is designed for clarity and professionalism.
Each license type defines where and how the music may be used:
-
Personal License – for private listening only.
-
Commercial License – for small advertisements, social media, and internal corporate projects.
-
Extended Commercial License – for large campaigns, paid products, and brand videos.
-
Derivative Works License (Remix) – for remixes, mashups, and new compositions.
-
Broadcast / TV / Film License – for television, radio, streaming, and public broadcast.
All licenses are digital and unique, issued as official documents and valid only for the buyer.
Purchasing a license does not include new audio files – it extends the usage rights of your existing album or CD.

II. CD purchase and rights
1. What does buying a CD grant (Standard CD (No License))?

- the physical audio disc;
- the right to listen to the music on the CD for personal use without limitation;
- the right to make personal backup copies (within the limits of applicable law);
- the right to resell the CD as a used physical item.
2. What does buying a CD NOT grant (Standard CD (No License))?
Buying a CD does NOT automatically grant any license or extended usage rights. The buyer does NOT have the right to:
- use the music on the CD in videos, films, advertisements or other projects;

1. Purchasing files
When purchasing digital files (FLAC, MP3), the buyer receives:
- the right to download the purchased files;
- the right to listen to the files for personal use without limitation;
